About
Hi, I'm [pseudo]. The Bench is a notebook of small weekend projects: party games, generators, music and MIDI tools, and the occasional bit of hardware held together with hot glue.
I spend enough of the week making sensible things with roadmaps and deadlines. This is where an idea can begin because it's funny, oddly specific or simply worth testing. The write-up comes afterwards, with drawings, measurements, mistakes and an answer.
How this site works
- Posts are numbered in the order they were published, oldest first.
- Each post has a status: seedling (a note), growing (in progress), evergreen (done).
- No analytics, no trackers, no third-party fonts. The page you are reading talks to nobody but this server.
- There is an RSS feed if you'd like to be told when something new appears.
